The Michi Collection
Curated journeys along Japan's sacred paths, pilgrim routes, and scenic corridors.
Michi — 道 — is a way, a path, but also a practice. Japan's sacred and scenic routes have been walked for centuries: the 88-temple Shikoku pilgrimage, the Kumano Kodo, the Nakasendo, the mountain ways of the yamabushi.
We walk them not as tourists but as students — accompanied by those whose families have lived along these paths for generations, who can read the landscape as text.
The Michi Collection is for travelers who understand: the journey itself is the arrival.
